The Heartland Huskies and the Fillmore Central Panthers put forth their track and field teams on Thursday, giving their athletes one last opportunity to punch their tickets to the state meet in Omaha on May 16 and 17.

At the district meet it’s all about finishing in the top two of most events, if you want to compete the following week at the state meet in Omaha.

The following classes are scheduled in May & June.  To register, please call or email me at least two days prior to the class you are interested in.

Gerardo Gonzalez and Juliana Eloiza Rodriguez, are parents of a daughter, Jasmin Samantha Gonzalez Rodriguez, born May 2, 2008 at 6:37 p.m. at York General Hospital.

Last year at about this time I wrote a story about "kitten season.” Well it is upon us once again.

As you know, I am obsessed with people working with the public to be nice and say THANK YOU.  Not “HERE YOU GO”, but THANK YOU.  It’s not rocket science…its common courtesy.
