Brian and Brenda (VanHousen) Chapman of Smithville, Mo., are parents of a son, Teegan Lee, born Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Army National Guard Pvt. Joshua R. Bowman has graduated from Basic Combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

On October 29, TeamMates of York gathered board members to determine a local vision for the program.  The vision for TeamMates of York is to serve 75 youth by 2011 and retain 80% of matches. To realize this vision, the board will be recruiting new mentors and will be educating the community on the impact of mentoring in the lives of youth.

Andrew and Stephanie Andersen of York , Nebraska are proud to announce the birth of their baby daughter Addison Marie.  She was born on October 23, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.  She weighed 8lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Brandon Junge and Jillian Hoffschneider both of York are the parents of a son, Craeton Chevy Junge, born at 4:09 p.m. on November 6, 2008 at Henderson Health Care Services, Inc., Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds 9 1/2 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Philip and Marsha Roth of Kansas City, MO are the parents of a son, Kellen Thomas Roth, born at 5:45 a.m. on October 30, 2008 at Liberty Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
