York State Bank Golden Eagles 10-U win districts

HASTINGS – The York State Bank Eagles of 10-under softball won the ASA Class C, District 7 Tournament last weekend in Hastings.
The team went 4-0 in the tourney with wins over Meridians (13-3), the BCG Pirates (9-2) and Fairbury Husker Rehab (14-6). In the championship game of the double-elimination tournament, Fairbury Husker Rehab was victimized a second time (17-0).
The York State Bank squad improved to 24-4-1 on the season. Next action comes in the league tournament this weekend at Wymore.
The ASA Class C 10-Under state tournament is July 10-11 at Crete.
