WACO — Exchanging wedding vows in an Aug. 12, 2011 ceremony were Krista Marie Naber of Waco and Jonathan Park Sloup of Lakewood, WA.
The Rev. Dirk Reek officiated at the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Gale Naber.
Parents of the couple are Gale and Denise (McCall) Naber of Waco and Steve and Lori Sloup of Lincoln.
Maid of honor was Amy Makovicka of York. Attending as bridesmaids were Heather Bertelson of Hartland, WI, Vanessa Bowmaster of Iowa and Abbie Sloup of Lincoln.
Theodore Sloup of Chicago, Ill., was best man with Oliver Sloup of Chicago, Ill., Casey Santos of Atlanta, GA, and Eric Naber of Lincoln as groomsmen. Seating the guests were Ryan Naber, Matthew Brackhan, Brian Thompson and TJ Thorpe.
Harlee Ann Naber of Oklahoma City, OK, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Ethan Ringler of Lincoln was ring bearer.
Providing music for the ceremony were Paul Soulek, St. John Seward music director, Emily Eberspacher, violinist, and vocalists, Gale Naber, Jonathan Naber and Ryan Naber.
A reception was held at York Country Club with Pro-Motion DJ Rick Johnson providing the music.
Krista is a graduate of Centennial High School and has a BFA Degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Sloup is a graduate of Southwest High School and International Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Following a wedding trip, the couple is at home in Fort Lewis, WA.
