FRIEND -- Lyle and De Loris (Bluhm) Zimmer of Friend will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Aug. 22, 2008.
The couple was married Aug. 22, 1953 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Goehner.
Lyle and Dee reside on a farm near Friend. Their children and grandchildren include: Steven, Bernita, Amber and Patrick Zimmer of Plattsmouth/Omaha; Michael, LaShelle, Landon and Savannah Zimmer of Syracuse and Amy, Dalen, Logan and Emily Meisinger of York.
