YORK -- Vern and Marilyn Trofholz invite you to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 21 with a card shower and Open House from 2 to 4 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in York. Cards may be sent to them at 2024 Nebraska Ave., York, Neb. 68467.
Their son and daughter-in-law are Terry and Tammy of York and daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Thurman Hinds of Lincoln.
Vern and Marilyn were married Sept. 5, 1948 in Columbus, Neb. They moved to York in 1952 and opened Trofholz Bakery which they operated for over 30 years.
