Blue vs. Red
Well, needless to say it was a little strange sitting in the NU Coliseum on Saturday evening in a blue shirt, behind the visiting team bench. I wasn't the only one that felt a little strange. Sara, who worked as a Husker for five volleyball seasons, also said it was a little strange to her to return wearing blue Nike gear instead of red Addias gear after returning from their Saturday morning practice. She hadn't been in the visiting team locker room too many times before Saturday.
All in all, it was a fun night. Kentucky accomplished several things according to Sara. They wanted to win, which didn't happen, but their team got to see a first-class venue with a great atmosphere. They played hard and had a good experience. It's something that they think will help them down the road.
