Citizens’ group wants protections if Keystone XL is built

YORK – They may call themselves an “informal group of citizens from York and Polk Counties,” but their purpose is clear and their numbers are growing.

These people (mostly landowners), who say they have concerns about the possible Keystone XL pipeline, have now formed the “Good Life Alliance” for the purpose of rallying together to ask their county officials for rules and regulations “just in case President Obama grants TransCanada a permit to build the Keystone XL pipeline.”
