According to Officer Katie Flood of the Lincoln Police Department, Steven Dubas, 37, who listed both Lincoln and Stromsburg addresses, was taken into custody by LPD on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Dubas has been charged with solicitation of prostitution resulting from his response to an ad placed on Craig’s List by the Technical Investigative Unit of LPD offering “erotic services.”
“The individual responded to the ad. The suspect made a phone call negotiating specific sex acts for $200. He agreed to meet with the prostitute (officer) at his Lincoln apartment. He was arrested outside of his Lincoln apartment,” Flood stated.
Dubas has been charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution. He posted bail and has been released. He will appear in court at a later date.
