York contamination sites proposed for Superfund priority list

YORK – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced its proposal that two groundwater contamination sites, both in York, be added to the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL).

These designations are part of the Superfund clean-up process, which was designed to remediate sites contaminated with hazardous substances.
