The Bradshaw Rural Fire Department will be celebrating its 100 anniversary this weekend during Bradshaw Days. A firefighters' reunion is planned for Friday night, July 25 at 8 p.m.

After recent rains drowned out Bill Winkelman's soybean crop for the second time his "friends" decided to razz him a bit by placing a fisherman in the middle of the lake that was once a field of beans.
