Writing this review is a real challenge. Trying to find something to say about The Dark Knight that hasn’t already been said is hard. It’s been hailed by other critics as stunning, brilliant, and even a masterpiece. I’m here to tell you that it lives up to all of those and more.

Forty-nine Nebraska Future Business Leaders of America students recently received 26 of the Top 10 Awards at a national leadership conference in Atlanta.
Students placing first, second or third in state competition competed June 26-29 at the national conference.
The People to People Student Ambassador Program in Spokane, Wash., announced that Kasha Brown was selected into the student ambassador class of 2008. She is the daughter of Scott and Kristine (Seward) Brown of Huron, S.D., and a granddaughter of Marilyn Brown of York and Russell and Nancy (Schaldecker) Seward of Fairmont. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Jimmie Holloway of Fairmont and Verna Jean Schaldecker of York.
The Heartland Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, for the National Leadership Conference from June 25 to June 30. Michelle Barr, Tori Bittinger, Lauren Braun, Quint Geis, Kimberly Goossen, Clint Kroeker, Jessica Quiring, Brianna Rader and Whitney Steingard along with adviser Kristy Most participated in the weeklong conference activities. The group stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
Yorkstreet 4-H Club met June 11 at the First United Methodist Church with Devin Sikes and Trent Koehler hosting.
Members made mosaics by breaking old plates and tile and putting the glass on stepping stones and flower pots. Then they grouted them and will put sealer on them at home.
At the next meeting they will batik.
The York County riders took home several honors at the District 4-H Horse Show held in York on Friday, June 13, reported Gerald Peterson, Extension Assistant. Peterson said the District 4-H Horse Show was the largest in the state for 2008 with over 160 entered riders in competition.
Wyatt Suddarth of York was among a group of 40 high school sophomores attending the 10th annual Academy of Excellence program June 22-27 at The Peter Kiewit Institute. This week-long program provides hands-on lessons in information science, technology and engineering.
