Obituary, Donald L. Pinneo

Donald L. Pinneo, 73, died July 10, 2008 at Lake Forrest, Calif.
Don was raised in York and graduated from York High School. He joined the U.S. Marines following graduation and served four years. He enjoyed coming back often to visit old friends and attend class reunions. He fought a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.
Surviving are his wife, Nona; daughter, Carrie; son, Paul; sisters, Mae (Max) Gray, York, Patsy Rempel, Seward, Linda Duell, York, Barbara (Francis) Matlock, York; brother, Joe Pinneo; three grandsons; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, James and Edna Pinneo; brother, Arlin (Korean War); and sisters, Betty Wren and Jeanie Hansen.
Memorial services were held July 16 at Saddleback Community Church.
