On a warm night in York the York Dolphins Swim team hosted the Lincoln “Y” swim team in head to head competition at the York Aquatic Center.

As the season winds down to it’s final days the York Dolphin swimmers are doing their best to qualify for the Midwest Championships that are coming up in early August in Lincoln.
Swimmers are working on their forms, their entry in to the water and trying to find a way to cut that extra tenth of a second off their time to make the Midwest field.
On Wednesday night several volunteers gave their time to making the meet run smoothly and the kids had a great time competing against each other.
Final results from the meet and a few comments from head coach Darcy McBride will be featured when the information is supplied to the York News Times Sports Department.
