Michael and Lindsay Johnson

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Lindsay Leiker and Michael Johnson exchanged wedding vows on April 18, 2015.

The 6:30 p.m. ceremony was held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. with the Deacon Ken Fuefhausen officiating. Parents of the couple are Pat and Gary Leiker of Wichita, Kan. and Dennis and Roxane Johnson of York. Honored guest was the groom’s grandmother, Darlene Bowman of York.

Cherish Wood was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Sarah Briggs, Megan Harper and Orisa Leiker. Serving as best man was Whit Thomas and the groomsmen were Alex Hildebrand, Eric Hruska and Deste Baptiste.

Ushering guests were Spencer Sebek, Josh Heiliger and Brian Leiker. Readers were Brian Leiker and Carey Deeds.

Cocktails, dinner and dancing were held in the reception room at the Boulevard Brewing Company.

The bride graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School in Wichita, attended Kansas State University and graduated from Saint Lukes College of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Mo. Lindsay is employed by Kansas University Medical Center as a Registered Nurse.

The groom graduated from York High School and Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln. Michael was also employed as a Registered Nurse with the Kansas University Medical Center but has returned to school at KUMC to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia degree.

Following the honeymoon to the Dominican Republic the couple is now at home in Prairie Village, Kan.
