Everyone received a flag to wave to cheer the runners on their way and to receive them at the finish line. Water was given out to all who wanted some. The Dept. of Veterans Affairs, the NE National Guard, and many other organizations also handed out information about services for Veterans and Military to attendees. The Marine Corps League was there to provide the colors for the National Anthem.
