YORK -- Faith LWML met June 12, at 7 p.m., at Faith Lutheran fellowship hall with eight members, two guests and Pastor Trampe present.

Cheryl Luebbe shared the opening devotion. Pastor Trampe then led the Bible study entitled, “Who are we in Christ?” which took the group into many verses in the New Testament about being forgiven and loved beings.

Minutes from the prior meeting were read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and approved. Thank you notes were shared, as well as updates from mission workers they help support.

Jan Uffelman has been making visits to shut-ins, and Cheryl Luebbe will help send cards. Jan Uffelman shared a report from funerals served. Human Care reported they tied three quilts at their last gathering. Mary Schaf was warmly welcomed into membership.

“Happy Birthday” was sung to Deb Stamm for her June birthday.

Hostesses for the evening were Sharon Brackhan and Lois Smith.
