YORK -- York General announces the appointment of one new member to its board of directors as well as the full slate of officers and board members for 2019.

Joining the board of directors is Steve Ermer.

Ermer has been the sales manager at York Equipment since 1992. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to York Equipment, Ermer worked at General Electric and at Sprint.

Ermer is currently a board member for Cornerstone Bank and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He and his wife Nancy are empty nesters; their two grown daughters live in Kentucky and New Jersey.

Charles Harris, president of the York General Board of Directors, stated, “We are very fortunate to have Steve by our side as we continue to serve our community and their health care needs.”

The Board of Directors for York General helps ensure that York General continues to provide quality patient/resident care, a broad range of services and a strong commitment to York and the surrounding communities.
