GRAND ISLAND — A 39-year-old Grand Island man was arrested Monday for allegedly photographing his girlfriend’s 14-year-old daughter in a state of undress without the girl’s consent.
The girl’s brother and mother then allegedly assaulted the man.
Police say Luis Zavala-Gomez shot photos and video of the girl in the restroom in a state of undress.
The girl found the photos and video on Zavala-Gomez’s phone, said Capt. Jim Duering. She contacted her brother, who then informed their mother.
The brother and mother then assaulted Zavala-Gomez, Duering said.
Zavala-Gomez was arrested for unlawful intrusion. The mother will be referred for second-degree domestic assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and tampering with evidence. According to Duering, the mother threw a mug at Zavala-Gomez, striking him in the head.
The brother will be referred for third-degree assault.
