YORK – Carl Dickinson, CEO at United Farmers Cooperative presented a donation on Wednesday, Nov. 14 to the Living Water Rescue Mission in York.

The United Farmers Cooperative (UFC) and Land O’Lakes, Inc. each made a donation of $500. Chaplain Ted Pearson (Executive Director) and Chaplain Dave Martelle (Assistant Director) were present to receive the donations.

UFC and Land O’Lakes, Inc. have a joint commitment to rural communities where their members, employees and facilities are located.

It is the intention of both companies to help enhance the quality of life in their rural communities by donating to excellent organizations such as the Living Water Rescue Mission.

The Living Water Rescue Mission purpose is to equip the hurting and the homeless with the tools to become responsible, contributing members of the Church and society by providing food, shelter, and guidance to those in need.

The mission has served 30,000 meals since April 2011 and believes that they will continue to serve an average of 20,000 meals a year to those in need.
