York Cornerstone Juniors’ catcher Ty Schneider was able to get the out on this bloop hit in foul territory last Tuesday against Shelby-Osceola-Stromsburg at Levitt Stadium in York.

HASTINGS – The York Cornerstone Juniors baseball team dropped to 6-3 on the season after losing 11-0 in five innings to Hastings on the road Wednesday night.

Hastings outhit York 11-1 along its way to the win.

York trailed 6-0 after two innings and 9-0 after three. Jonah Barrow started on the mound for the Juniors and lasted a little over an inning. Caleb Sahling and Emmitt Heiss both pitched in relief.

The Juniors’ next game is in Aurora on Friday at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the Juniors travel back to Hastings to play in a triangular with Gering and Hastings Runza at the Smith Complex. York opens the triangular with an 11:30 a.m. game against Gering, then plays Hastings Runza at 2 p.m.
